Books for Cooks
Books for Cooks is Notting Hill's most famous cookbook shop, crammed with thousands of tasty titles and equipped with a squashy sofa for cookbook junkies in need of a long read. I personally could spend days in there. I am really looking forward to signing my new book (Soups and Stews) there on the 5th of November. CherryAid
CherryAid is a fab campaign to save the British cherry, started by my wonderful friend Henrietta Green, founder of FoodLoversBritain. British cherries seem to be in a bit of a jam! In the last 50 years we've lost 90% of our cherry orchards and now import 95% of the cherries we eat. A collection of fabulous chefs have given recipes to the CherryAid website below to show their support. I have given a light and refreshing Cherryade and a rich and creamy Cherry Ice Cream.

Mushroom promotion
The lovely people at the Mushroom Bureau recently asked me to be involved in the promotion of yummy mushrooms. Mushrooms are great - because of their fabulous texture and delicious flavour they make a great meat-substitute and are wonderful to cook with. Britain's next top model
I had a really fun day recently when I got to be a judge on the brand new 4th series of Britain's next top model alongside my friend Gerry Deveaux. As a prize we then took the lucky girl along to my brother Jasper's fashion show. Coco came too and we had a great day. The show was aired on Living TV in early June.
