Sofas that are easyto get in and out of.

You don't need to give up the style you love. Every one of our sofas is made by hand, so we can adjust how high you sit, how far back you sink, how firm the cushions are and how much support you have behind you.
Four simple changes

1 · SEAT HEIGHT
How high you sit
Our standard seats run from 45 cm on Henrietta to 55 cm on Barton. We can raise any of them with taller feet or castors. On one bespoke Coco, 3.5 cm taller feet took the seat from 50 cm to 53.5 cm.
Try this: measure the chair you find easiest to get out of, floor to top of seat. That is the height to ask us for.
2. SEAT DEPTH
Sophia's seat is 12 cm shallower than Barton's
A shallow seat keeps you near the front edge, so standing takes less effort. That is why Sophia is often easier to get out of than Barton, even though Barton sits higher.

Before you choose
|
1
Measure the seat you find easiest: height and depth. |

Sit with your feet flat. Knees no higher than hips. |
3
Check the arms are firm to push against. |
4
Sit upright? Choose a shallower seat and taller back. |
5
Ask for a firmer cushion if getting up is hard. |
6
Try an extra cushion behind your back or on the seat. |
