The Barton range combines traditional craftsmanship, natural materials and exceptional comfort to create a timeless, inviting centrepiece for your home. Handmade in the UK by skilled craftspeople, it’s designed for relaxed living, generous proportions and a contemporary yet classic silhouette.

Inspired by the Burnham sofa designed by Sophie’s father over 40 years ago, the Barton updates a family classic with lower arms, deeper seats and Sophie’s signature bow-tied loose covers - making it beautifully practical as well as stylish.

Natural materials: solid hardwood frame, natural fibres, steel springs, duck feather cushions
Feather wrapped foam seats: This is made of 3 layers of RECYCLED FOAM. They will be firm when they first arrive but they will get 25% softer in a period of 6 months.
Comes in two styles: with big back cushion and scatter cushions
Loose, removable covers: with signature bow detail for easy cleaning and effortless style changes
Customisable: in any size and fabric. We can adapt the height, depth and cushion, feet or castor finishes on the collection.
